Equipment
As opposed to the
section in Personnel Details where Equipment Proficiencies are allocated to persons, this
facility is where Equipment is defined. You would create, modify and delete
Equipment here. Note: Deletion will not be allowed if the item of Equipment has been used in any
related child records - see below.
Equipment competency
is a
basis for establishing a person's qualification for a position and grade. See Required
Competencies.

The Find facility
searches 'Equipment Code' and 'Description' for the Equipment you want.

overview search results, select the appropriate one then switch back to
form view.

The Equipment Code must be unique. You will not be allowed to enter a given code twice.

Enter the appropriate
Equipment Code.

Enter a meaningful
description.

Once Equipment is referred
to from Personnel equipment competency it cannot be deleted
in this facility. Only their descriptions may be changed at this
stage.

Equipment can only be
referred to from other facilities once defined here.
